Pure lead batteries have an extremely low self-discharge rate, thus providing extended storage capability while maintaining high state-of-charge levels for dependable operation.
To assure maximum reliability, we recommend that all stored cells/batteries be recharged (boost charged) once every 24 months or when the open-circuit voltage drops to 6.00 volts, whichever occurs earlier. Inventory should be checked more frequently if storage temperature regularly exceeds 25°C.
